NEW WRITING 3: Matt Simpson / To Hungary
Back to the mother country tomorrow for a week or so. I think I should be able to post from there.
I will also put up a series of engagements soon so anyone who reads this can come along should the idea appeal to them.
Also delighted to welcome a new poem from Matt Simpson in Notes! Will add more biographical information for him...

Have a few sour cherry pies for me there. Yes, and the duck - vitally important not to forget the duck.

Nothing better than sour cherry pie. But there are things as good, usually involving a lot of cream and very light flaky pastry. And then there's all that paprika and wine.
I haven't forgotten the duck, probably the best, richest and finest tasting bird. Serve with red cabbage, the rest according to taste.
