This is instead of a blog: after a day of chasing contributors and worrying and close reading my eyes have wandered off into the middle of the night and are still absent at the time of writing this. If anyone sees a suspiciously bleary pair of brown eyes looking lost please return them to this blog. They answer to the names of Who? and Me? the voice rising a little at the end of the word. If they simply close again, let them sleep. They'll find their own way back. They always do.
