I know it's not summer and I'm not in a city as I write this, but it felt like summer and tonight I was in the city for a Peripatetics meeting. Excuse enough.

I am so v sad that I missed Peripatetics...............last night. Could not get back from Cambridge in time but would have loved to see you. (One more reason to feel regret about a lost evening.)
It seems like a great translation to me, full of brio. But how can you know without being bi-ligual and reading the original?
It goes a bit baggy a step or two from the end but it's a very small criticism. The most astonishing thing is that in the end notes you're asked to believe that it was written in seven or eight weeks! That just made me laugh out loud at the sheer cheek of it.

Is this on the right post, Steve?
Well, it's in-between the dotted lines of the post I mean it for, but looking at the lead post and the general situation : No!
Do you have the technology to shift it to Hans and his Alonliness?
Er... dunno. You could post this again, there?
