I pray that there is a world for this fellow to grow up in. When he reaches our age George it'll be 2075 or thereabouts. I can't begin to imagine what kind of genetically modified polluted nuclear-plastic-factory fooder-industrial-military-dark descending-microchipped-orwellian-sickly planet of no bees he will be living in or on by then. Or maybe I'm just a grumpy old sod. Maybe it won't be so bad. I wish him a bright future.
What a wonderful name and what a gorgeous grandson. The mark that ensures beauty. Warm, warm congratulations and much love,
What a fine, sturdy little fellow. Congratulations and wishing you many hours of grandparental enjoyment with the two of them.
He's lovely. Enjoy him.
George, is it too late to add another forename name to the list? What about Eric? The great Frenchman is to run for the office of French President the BBC have just announced. Basically it's a Cantona ploy to highlight the appalling condition of council housing for the poor. It'd be a fitting tribute. I'm not saying he should be like the kid who was named after the whole Liverpool team .... including (if I remember) St. John, but I'd do it. I just love Cantona I guess. I see a human soul in there. Both.
Thank you Diane, Nicole and Gwilym.Too late for Eric, I'm afraid. The trawler has gone and the seagulls with it.
